-This program was truly so enjoyable, especially the non-judgmental environment for learning. Thank you SO MUCH!
-This was hands-down the BEST course I’ve ever taken. Engaging, comprehensive, informative; loved it!
-Training with hands-on in lab felt stressful. Very pleasant speakers who had a wonderful mix of being serious, fun, and contagious. (smiley face) Thank you
-Very good course. Much better than other courses I’ve taken.
-This was an exceptional course not only from a knowledge perspective but also hands-on learning. I feel so well equipped for FEES. The instructors were so engaging and incredible teachers!
Humble, TX 2025
- Loved getting to scope @ the beginning of day 1!
- The binder and all the resources are all amazing for reference after the course.
- I enjoyed how this swallowing presentation not only discussed the swallow and the manual application/scoping but applied this assessment and dysphagia to the whole body/person. You are right, Dr. Ashford, SLPs need to be more aware of how our scope of practice interrelates to the person’s anatomy, physiology, and overall care. I enjoyed & needed your kindness and firmness during scoping training.
-Going through videos & practicing scoring was so beneficial! I was a little more worried about scoring than scoping, so I loved getting a lot of hands on practice with them as well!

- Excellent for confidence building and education to better understand swallowing. I hope to apply this not just to FEES but MBS!
- Staying in groups for scoring practice helped a ton!
- I really enjoyed the anatomy refresher and time spent on analysis.
- Excellent info provide & very personable – made it very easy to learn & non-judgment zone!
Gainesville, FL 2025
- Very well organized, informative course. I appreciate all of the slides to have as a resource along with the hands-on labs. The instructors were great and very patient with all of the students which I appreciate. Thank you for the course!
- I really enjoyed the course and the updates! But, for experienced clinicians, especially those who use MBS, the physiology parts were repetitive. I would enjoy more analysis practice personally…Also, I didn’t do the assigned reading because they came on relatively short notice.
- I found the scoring activities & real FEES review very helpful in understanding how to score penetration, rate residue, etc. All the hands-on practice was great.

-Exceptional, very practical. You made a safe learning environment. So good to experience scoping instructions with real feedback. The slides are so coherent & useful. Much stronger program than another course I too.
-I love it. Changed my view of dysphagia & made me appreciate FEES much more. Amazing instructors who really made it feel like a no judgment zone.
-I loved this course. It’s a great team of therapists that are knowledgeable & passionate. Passing 10 scopes on the 1st day was very nice to get nerves out of the way. I may not be aware but hoping you come to Texas more.
Manahawkin, NJ 2026
-Loved the anatomy review before looking @ videos. Seeing/doing passes before trying to describe anatomy & physiology was effective in understanding the descriptions in example videos. Having repetitive passes, observations, and discussion was essential to my personal learning. The scoring system is so useful with the protocol/trial page. My previous FEES course had nearly no information.
-I enjoyed this conference far more than any others I have been to recently. There is a lot of content, but the course layout allowed us to quickly apply the information.
-Everything was great. I learned what I needed to get me started with my competencies. Only suggestion is breaking down that last exercise or reordering it’s incorporation into Day 2. After us newbies scoped and had a long day and are left feeling proud yet with more to learn. A different task to end might help me/us keep focus.
-Wow! What a wonderful experience this was. The instruction and step-by-step approach to building our FEES procedure skills were very effective. LOVED the last 2 lectures in particular about the 3 pillars and how to be a good diagnostician of dysphagia. Thank you for the encouragement! Definitely encouraged us all to “practice @ the top of our licenses: as Dr. Coyle says. See you at the advanced course some day!

-This was a very informative training. Thank you for being patient but also pushing us. This was one of the most valuable experiences I’ve had in grad school. Excited to take these skills with me back to my placements.
-Everyone was so pt and encouraging. Lectures were engaging and helpful at breaking each step down. I was hesitant about this experience but your company & your employees are 1000/1000. Thank you for everything.
-I absolutely loved this course. I feel like I learned a ton and the instructors were very helpful. I felt comfortable to ask questions and was able to stay engaged in every lecture. I also like how we scoped the instructors first (thank you!) and our peers the second day! Overall, I had a great experience! I would definitely recommend this course.
Annville, PA - Lebanon Valley College 2026
-The presentations solidified what I’ve learned in Anatomy and Dysphagia! The feedback during the scope labs definitely helped me. Doing it on myself helped me recognize what I was doing to others I scoped.
-The presentations were very informative with very useful information. Instructors were very helpful & made me feel more confident in my scoping abilities by the end. I like that we score each trial w/ FEES where w/ MBS you score overall/worst.
-I’m a hands-on learner, so I loved the learning activities & working hands-on with the endoscope. Instructors were very knowledgeable & open to answering questions. They also had a positive tone, yet they challenged critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I learning a lot of valuable information that will be beneficial in other areas of my clinical journey as well. I LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE -thank you!
